Youth Activities
The mission of the 100 Black Men of Tulsa is to improve the quality of life within our communities and enhance educational and economic opportunities for all African Americans.
Our Tulsa chapter puts a strong emphasis on developing the youth in our community and encouraging the leader in each of them to reach their fullest potential. We do this through mentorship, sports and entrepreneurship.
We also work to make sure that our young men have good opportunities to get a great education.
Activities throughout the Year
Athletic Program
The Athletic Program is geared toward empowering youth in each of these areas. It combines the skill, fun, and competitiveness of sports, with the dedication, care, and intentionality of mentors and program coordinators to create an experience where children have access to numerous opportunities, recreational activities, and mentorship.
Entrepreneurship Program
The entrepreneurship program is poised to change this trend by training and educating black young men on the value of being an entrepreneur and growing a business as well as the importance of having great money management skills through our financial literacy program.
Mentorship throughout the Year
Our mentoring program addresses complexities of the world that African American men are being raised in and cultivates an environment where transformation happens. Through our partnership with Tulsa Public Schools, we have reached over seven schools and hundreds of youth, shaping them into strong, healthy culturally aware, young men.
